Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups spelt flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¾ cups plant-based milk
  • cup melted coconut oil
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix spelt flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry. Stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Cook in preheated waffle iron until golden and crispy.
