Ingredients

750 ml Prosecco, chilled

water

cup
sugar
¼
cup
fresh sage leaves
plus extra for garnish

fresh ginger
peeled and sliced

thin slices of ginger for garnish
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, ¼ cup sage leaves, and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
Strain the syrup and let it cool completely.
Place a sage leaf and a thin slice of ginger in each champagne flute.
Pour 1 ounce of the sage-ginger syrup into each glass.
Top with chilled Prosecco.
Gently stir and garnish with an additional sage leaf if desired.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, use more syrup; for a lighter drink, use less.
