Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Halloumi cheese
  • cup Flour all-purpose
  • ½-¾ cup Oil for frying vegetable oil, corn oil, peanut oil etc.

Instructions
 

Pan fried halloumi (or deep fried)

  • Cut the halloumi into sticks about the size of fries (smaller than mozzarella sticks)
  • Dredge the halloumi sticks in a thin layer of flour, shaking off any excess
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat
  • Fry the halloumi fries in the hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown
  • Remove them with a slotted spoon onto some paper towels to drain
  • Serve them immediately

Air Fryer Halloumi Fries

  • Cut the halloumi into sticks about the size of fries (smaller than mozzarella sticks)
  • Dredge the halloumi sticks in a thin layer of flour, shaking off any excess
  • Layer the prepared halloumi sticks in a single layer in the air fryer pan
  • Set the temperature to 400° F and fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the air fryer basket 1-2 times during the process. Fry until golden brown
  • Serve immediately
